I'm yuan xue. I am a junior researcher on Information Retrieval and Data Mining.
My research intersts include: 1 .keywords generation 2.query construction3.news ranking 4.topic tracking and detection. (TDT). As far as I concerned, one of the most effective ways in improving the performance of the products on IR/Data Mining depends heavily on whether we can obtain meaningful feedbacks from the very users of our products and make full utilization of them. With my belief in this idea, I've devoted my efforts on seeking various ways in combining the power of the techniques with the power of human in my research. Fortunately. I've found that virtual community provides me a good platform to carry out this idea. In this blog, I'll introduce my paper as well as my research idea and promote for them.Later, I'll put my publications on this blog and release the code of my algorithms together with some data for public testing.I'll also provide some resources relevant to my research in favor of those researchers who have the common interests with me!
